A typical Tuscan farmhouse of XIX century, once belonging to the noble family Giucciardini, has been the subject of careful restoration in the authentic Tuscan style, offering a retreat of tranquility just 6 km away from the famous towers of San Gimignano.

The estate extends over 37 hectares and includes 7 hectares of vineyard growing the precious grapes of Vernaccia, dating back to XIII century, and of Chianti classico. When autumn comes the silver olive trees produce a fruity nectar, an olive oil of unique flavour.

It's the ideal place for a family vacation or a group of friends. The apartments have been equipped to welcome guests who arrive from all over the world and return year after year to find the authentic taste of Tuscany time and again.

Podere Remignoli is located right at the heart of Tuscany within easy access from Siena (35 km), Florence (65km), Certaldo (3km), San Gimignano (5km) and Volterra (35km). It is also an ideal place for the discovery of less famous though equally charming medieval boroughs like Vinci, Colle val d'Elsa and Monteriggioni, located within 20 km distance. Chianti is a hilly landscape area offering numerous itineraries suitable for hill-walking, horse riding and mountain biking.

Close to the farm you can find the ancient pilgrims' route of via Francigena, recalling names of poets and painters like Dante, Boccaccio, Leonardo and Pontormo. The route follows the Val d'Elsa and reaches Siena in an evocative atmosphere of nature, Middle Ages and spirituality.

A farmhouse holiday in the Chianti region between Siena and Val d'Elsa is also an opportunity for shopping for local products, mainly wine and olive oil. At the nearby Terme di Gambassi (Gambassi Spa, 18 km) you may enjoy spa, wellness and aesthetic treatments with its famous Acqua di Pillo.

Podere Remignoli gives its name to the nearby village situated at 300 metres, and is part of a wildlife reserve where you can see pheasants, hares, boars, foxes and partridges.

From the farmhouse you may admire the towers of San Gimignano, as if you could almost touch them! You may also reach the "town of hundred towers" taking a walk or riding a bike along vineyards, olive groves and woods. Or you may simply stay on the farm, contemplating the towered landscape from the edge of the swimming pool, reading, swimming and listening to the silence of the countryside.
